My name is Kirsten - I am living in Denmark, in a beautiful little village named Varpelev.

I have been quilting since 2001. I haven't made many big projects, most of the time I am practising new methods and trying to be better.

My very first project was a pair of potholders - I started many years ago, but gave up again. Then suddenly an afternoon I found them again and finished them. And was so excited about the result, that I started new projects. I found out, that it was a very good idea to start with some placemats to learn some techniques.

One of my big WIPs (Work in progress) is Dear Jane®. I fell across the book written by Brenda Papadakis and read in it every day for some time. And found a homepage and a mailinglist about the Dear Jane-quilt. And now I have started making those challenging blocks.
